Composite GTR shocks feature threaded shock collars, large oil capacity, X-ring seals, and durable 3.5-millimeter shafts for smooth, consistent damping over rough terrain. Additionally, the Talon MXT tires mounted on rugged 2.8-inch monster truck wheels provide aggressive forward bite, excellent loose-surface traction, and effective mud-clearing performance.

Suspension, Drivetrain & Self-Righting Technology

The long-travel suspension works together with the modular composite chassis, reinforced wheelie bar, integrated nerf bars, and high-approach bumpers to absorb impacts and maintain stability during aggressive driving. A torque-biasing center drive, full-time shaft-driven 4WD system, oil-filled steel gear differentials, and heavy-duty steel gears deliver reliable power transfer across challenging terrain. All of these components combine to give true bashing performance, and Traxxas has the solution for inevitable rollovers. If the truck lands upside down, the patented self-righting feature allows it to rock itself back onto its wheels with the press of a button on the transmitter, keeping the action going with minimal interruption.
