Justin Allgaier's No. 40 Traveller Whiskey livery has a particularly memorable place in NASCAR history, serving as the centerpiece of JR Motorsports' first-ever NASCAR Cup Series entry in the 2025 Daytona 500. The car was created through a collaboration between Dale Earnhardt Jr., Chris Stapleton, and Buffalo Trace Distillery, with the No. 40 directly referencing Traveller Whiskey's signature blend. The car also became part of a significant moment for Allgaier, who had just captured his first Xfinity Series championship and then drove to a ninth-place finish in his Daytona 500 return, giving JR Motorsports a top-10 finish in its very first Cup Series start.

Chassis & Suspension

For superior traction on concrete and asphalt, the Losi NASCAR RC Race Car includes an AWD drivetrain rather than 2-wheel drive. The front splitter, rear diffuser, and nerf bars effectively shield all critical components from impacts with other racers. Critical gears are made of metal to endure demanding racing action. The transmission uses robust metal gears to carry power from the motor through an enclosed drivetrain to the wheels and tires. Four oil-filled shocks soak up the inconsistencies in the driving surface to keep your ripping around at blistering speeds. These officially licensed Goodyear Eagle racing slicks supply the traction needed to "Shake 'n Bake".

The Losi NASCAR RC Race Car's factory-installed powertrain features a powerful 28-turn brushed motor paired with a 25 amp electronic speed controller. An included 25mm electric fan ensures a long life of maximum performance by keeping the motor cool while you race at 20+ mph top speeds. Race with an unlimited number of other drivers and never worry about signal conflicts, thanks to the interference-resistant 2.4GHz technology of the Spektrum SLT2 radio
