The U-joint pins are held captive by the ball bearings so you never have to worry about losing a pin. Computer-aided design permitted Traxxas engineers to design these shafts to handle the extreme articulation generated by Jato’s increased suspension travel. On Jato there is less than 1mm of total dogbone plunge over the entire range of suspension travel. Unlike conventional metal shafts, the Traxxas metal CV shafts do not require you to limit your suspension travel.
